of contusions, including to the head, and was taken to the hospital and hospitalized there.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>He died a week later<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Public Prosecutor&#8217;s Office opened a file and the designated prosecutor initiated the investigation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Approximately 7 months after the event, Attorneys Eraldo and Niccol\u00f2 Stefani were assigned to investigate by the owners and operators of the quarry, who were immediately entered in the<strong> register of suspects on charges of manslaughter.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the granting of the defense mandate, the Firm immediately began the defensive investigation activities.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a first step, consultants (two engineers and a forensic scientist) were appointed, and once the pool of experts composing the <strong><em>Investigative Criminal Defense Unit<\/em><\/strong> was chosen, a timely inspection of the site of the event was organized within a few days.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery
